Erin Shaw
Welcome! My name is Erin. I grew up in the North Georgia mountains and have settled down in the quaint town of Ball Ground, Georgia with my husband and two children. I founded Signature Southern to quench my thirst for entrepreneurship and my passion for interior design.
Growing up my mother always had a knack for decorating and furniture arrangement, though you never knew if you might come home to the living room in total disarray as she resituated the couches and tables to fit her liking. Looking back, I took for granted that my childhood home always seemingly looked like a clipping from the latest Southern Living Magazine.
As I have grown older I've unknowingly developed a taste for simplistic design and clean lines, yet warm, cozy and comfortable feels. I became accustomed to creating a vision for home spaces that accentuate the natural features of the home. Hints of floral and greenery with neutral wall colors have been a staple of the Farmhouse craze, but it has always been the foundation of my personal preference when it comes to interior design. Clean and simple have always been in style and that will never change.
They say a hobby is something you do for fun, but a passion is something you do to feel whole. Something you miss with your heart, not just your hands. Interior design and home décor is my passion and I look forward to sharing it with you!
